主要教学、科研、管理服务工作:

教学方面,周春江教授主讲本科生《分子生物学》(双语)、《基因组学》(双语)、《基因工程》、《生命科学导论》、《植物组织培养》等课程;承担研究生《现代生物学技术进展》和《专业外语》部分教学任务;主持参与多项省级、校级精品课程项目、MOOC项目、双语示范课程项目及教学改革项目等,获河北省教学成果二等奖1项、三等奖1项。

科研方面,周春江教授主要从事植物衰老生物学研究。叶片是光合作用的主要器官,小麦、水稻等主要农作物籽粒产量大约70% 以上来源于生长后期叶片的同化产物。衰老是叶片发育的最后阶段,叶片衰老与籽粒形成和灌浆成熟同步进行,叶片早衰严重影响作物产量和品质,而适度延缓叶片衰老进程是提高作物产量、改善品质的重要手段。周春江教授研究组以拟南芥、小麦、水稻等为研究对象,通过遗传学、生物化学、分子生物学、细胞生物学等研究手段发掘鉴定影响植物衰老的重要功能基因,探究植物衰老的调控机理和分子机制;试图通过植物衰老进程的调控来改善农作物的产量和品质,延长花卉果蔬的保鲜期。

管理服务方面,周春江教授自200912月至201811月先后担任金沙赌城官网副院长、院长、书记,生物学博士学位授权一级学科负责人等。现任金沙赌城网址官方网站研究生院常务副院长、学位办主任。
